The site is flat and levelIf the ground slopes, it needs to be levelled before the slab goes in. Your concreter can advise.

Where your kit is delivered

Delivered by crane truck.

Suburban blocks

On most suburban blocks, the driver unloads the kit onto the front nature strip with the truck’s crane. Hand delivery onto the property is available at extra cost.

Someone to receive itAn adult on site who can sign for the delivery.
The nature strip is clearNothing parked there, and no low branches or wires in the crane’s way.
A plan to carry the packs inFrom the nature strip to the slab. Usually your builder does this.

Rural properties

We can deliver onto most rural properties, depending on access. Tell us about gates, soft ground and overhead lines.

Someone to receive itAn adult on site who can sign for the delivery and show the driver where to unload.
A clear way inGates wide enough, ground firm enough for the truck, and no low branches or overhead lines on the way in.
The unloading spot is clearRoom for the truck and its crane, as close to the slab as access allows.

Check with your council about an asset protection permit. Some councils ask for one before building work starts, to protect the footpath, kerb and nature strip out the front. It can involve a fee, proof of insurance and a refundable bond.

If access is tight, tell us well before delivery day. There is usually an answer, but it needs to be arranged.

Before the build starts

Keep your date on track

Once your delivery is booked, moving it can cost extra, so it pays to work through this list early. If something is running late, call us as soon as you know and we will work through it with you.

Garden sheds

Simpler, with one catch.

A garden shed needs a flat, level base and not much else. If you choose delivery and installation, our installer brings everything in and builds it. With delivery only, we deliver inside the property, so we need clear access and someone there to accept it, and you organise the build. The catch is size: the pre-assembled wall panels can be as large as 3.74 by 2.2 metres, so the path from the gate to the base still matters.
